I could get a DS650 01,a suzuki z400,or a 02 Raptor...........


It's going to be for the pops,the wifwe and who ever else is bike less on our trips,mostley for the wife and dad....


I ride mostley dunes and desert so which would be the best ..

i really cant say what would be best, because
a. i dont know what these people who are gonna ride it are like (their preferances; fast, easy to ride, soft ride, etc.)
and
b. i dont know if they have any experience in riding. it really all depends on that, so give some more info and i can be a better help.

I would say the raptor first , then z400. the 01 ds's are a very ruff bike. they switched the arms in 02 because of this.

 

I think that if i was buying a quad for people who don't have as much experience (which I am assuming your father doesn't?) I would go with either the z400 or probably the bombabdier. Have you considered a KFX700? It has plenty of power and is easy for even a Novice to ride. Not the most high performance machine, but you won't be able to leave them behind either.

My wife is new to riding and basically be putting around till she get's better ,and my dad wants to just take a spin,im not sure how much my wife will want to ride but she may want to ride all the time..


They are both begginers and have no experience but will learn fast and i go riding every weekend,my wife weighs 130 and my dad is a good 250,my dad may ride a few time but mostley my wife..

 

It's funny you say that, i have to get a used quad because my buddy owns a repossion co that i can pick most bike and he will find one,i really like the banshee but with the kickstart i am not sure,i aint kickstarting $hit...


I am leaning twords the DS because i ride with a few but i like the z-400....she will learn on any bike i get her and one more thing,she doesent want a slow bike she said for sure....

 

what about a scrambler ?
