i was told the 450 was very uncomfortable to ride for very long like all day at the dunes....is this true. please let me know as i am going to buy either this or a z400 in the next week.

Definetly get the YFZ! The awesome power makes up for a hard seat, trust me.

 

Had mine for 2 months now and riddin mostly at pismo out here in cali. It's really not bad, i mean it's not a raptor seat by no means u cant beat those, but then again this is a mx quad. I wouldn't say it is uncomfortable you will like the rest of the quad so much you'll never notice it. Im sure those that have them will agree! Those that dont will tell otherwise.

when your riding you dont feel the seat being hard at all. The only thing i noticed was that the throttle was a little stiff and my thumb would get pretty sore. This went away after a few days of riding though.

the vforce lags behind my yfz quit a bit. This was when both of our quads were stock i havent raced my dad yet with the upgrades we have recently done. He went with some 24inch paddle tires so i think its going to be a lot closer of a race.

 

i never sit down when i ride anyway so i couldnt tell ya how the seat is

 

The seat is hard and the pipe gets fairly hot on your leg but as the other guys have said you dont think of it much when your hauling a$$ through the woods.

The quad is very good. But I wouldnt trade my Rappy in for one. The reason I say this because of the type of riding I do. Mostly Dunes in the winter and woods riding in the summer. JMO

you would not notice the hard seat, the awesome power and handing makes up for the seat, you dont notice it one bit when riding, I rode all weekend and only my thumb got stiff during the 1st day,,
