Default GYTR Frame Guards

My GYTR frame guards cracked at the mounting points, main frame and rear frame, on both sides not too long after installation. What do you believe is the cause, the remedy, and if you haven't had this problem, do you know anybody who has?

My buddy had the same problem on his 426 and it was because the subframe was getting loose and was flexing. I would go over the bike and tighten all bolts.

I guess not too many people have these, maybe that's the reason, because they crack. I though about drilling out the bolt holes, inserting a nylon or steel sleeve and letting the bolts ride on those. My dealership where I do all my business got a refund from yamaha, now I'm getting a new set. I really like them and they have to go back on because the paint has rubbed off the frame where they were. Hope this fix works.
