Default Left handed thumb throttle....

I have an uncle that many years ago lost the use of his right arm in a street bike accident. I have got my father to realize how useful quads can be on the farm and now my uncle has gotten the bug too. He has only the use of his left arm and all quads throttle and front brake rom the right. I was wondering if anyone out there could let me know where I could find a left handed thumb throttle and a left handed front brake. I told him I would have no trouble finding this out because all you guys are awsome with the info. Thanks, in advance.

I almost thought that was funny. Also the quad is a automatic so there is no worry about clutches. I need to know if there are any manufaturers out there, but nice try.

Polaris has a split break kit that is a left hand break & master cylinder in one. I don't know if it will work on anything other than a polaris. You might check with one of the billet thumb throttle manufactures to see if they can change the CNC program for the opposite hand throttle. Moose Racing & Terry Cable.

^^^I agree. You could probably use a twist throttle and maybe get a brake lever or clutch lever for the left and reroute the brake cables to the left side. Then you would have everything on one side. Just an idea.

Hey there, I myself had an injury at birth that really made it hard to use a right handed thumb throttle, but I loved 4 wheeling so I had to do something. I cast and machined my first custom left handed thumb throttle a few years ago and it works perfectly. I wanted to share it with everyone so around may 28 2013 I will start selling them on my site, Check it out at Shawftware
Below is an image of my first throttle this is on a Yamaha warrior 350)
