I took the battery out to paint the fenders and I replaced the battery ( battery is good) and it will not turn over- lights turn on and when I hit the start the neutral light turns on and the is it - I am think the starter relay or the rectifier does anyone else have any ideas, please help I am a sitting duck - eamil me pdmyterko@yahoo.com

Does the starter spin but not engage? If so replace the starter oneway.

 

starter does not spin at all

 

Check the fuses on the relay under the seat.

 

Check your fuses and make sure battery connections are tight

 

One more time wont hurt........
Check your fuses and connections.
