need help, new wolverine tires.....
I put 25 " Surtracs on my Wolverine, they aren't a lot taller than the stock 23's, but they are a LOT wider, the front 8" tire is as wide as my stock rear 10", they have a great tread that can be flipped around for sand or mud and snow riding. Just don't go too big, a stock Wolverine is geared pretty high, and big tires will lug it down.Aluminum rims will help out, too.

I really like my 489XT's that I got - stock width but 25" tall. It seems to turn them just fine and dandy and it sure does a lot better in the mud now - no comparison. It is a lil work to get a powerslide out of the rear but it always was and will be til I get the 424 kit from Warn and kick er into 2WD. When I plan on doing more 2WD riding I'll get some tires more like the stockers so I can slide through the turns easier like a sport bike, although never with the same handling characteristics and suspension, but hey, that's why I bought the Cannondale, right?
