Make Your Warrior as fast as a stock Banshee
#11
Quadcrazy are you some sort of mechanic or something, how do you know it produces to much heat, if it did they wouldnt sell them. Your wrong about the oil cooler they cool the oil and then it goes back into your engine then your engine doesnt get as hot because the oil is cooler then the engine when it re-enters it cooling the engine! Are you also going to tell me that water cooled motors dont work? And just about every town has a machinist qualified to press a sleeve into a cylinder, have you ever heard of a machine shop. With the 446cc kit you wont just keep up with banshees you will beat them. The cam in the kit that alba sells is really what makes the warrior faster not a measley 20cc's.

Does 4-stroke tech have a web page or something cos its very hard for me to get anything done over here because there isnt ANYONE with experience or kits or anything.
Any bigger big bore kits around for as good a price???

Whitewarrior,
First off you need some education. Due to your smarta$$ comments.
1. Yes I used to be a mechanic.
2. I'm now a mechanical designer so yes I have heard of a machine shop.
3. No I wont tell you that water coolers don't work.
4. If you go back to my earlier post you will see that I had mention that alot of the sleeve kits you have to machine your CASES, just about anybody can press a sleeve in. I said good luck finding a qualified person to machine your CASES. Alot of machine shops will charge you an arm and a leg to do just that. Get a clue buddy.
Oil coolers and water coolers do two differant things.
Okay an oil cooler is specifically designed so that your oil does not overheat. If you say that just because it's a few degrees colder it's going to cool your engine your an idiot. There is barely any oil lining the cylinder wall, so you tell me how it's suppose to to cool your cylinder wall. (per my other message that i posted)
IT DOESN'T. Once again an oil cooler does not cool your engine very much it specifically designed so your oil does not overheat. IT DOES NOT COOL YOUR OIL ENOUGH TO COOL YOUR ENGINE THATS A FACT MY FRIEND.
On the other hand a water cooler is specifically design to cool your cylinder wall that is why the coolant SURROUNDS the cylinder wall.
If you put a sleeve kit on a water cooler you should be fine. But a sleeve kit on a none water cooler your asking for trouble eventiually.
Now don't bother being an idiot with your smarta$$ comments. If you want to be cool about it then fine. But if your going to make another smarta$$ comment then forget it.

Well white warrior, my friend has an fst warrior with a 425 kit on it, yep a big bore, and its not even got an oil cooler, and runs cooler than my stock 99 wolverine, why dont you lay down your mechanical engineering skills and tell me why this is.
