Hey guys,
I've been looking into making my Warrior a little faster. I've been looking for a big bore kit. Well I found something better. ALBA Yamaha has a Stroke kit and they claim after the kit is installed it's as fast as a STOCK banshee. The kit includes a new crank, a spacer plate, for the bottom of your cylinder, a 10:6:1 compression piston (stock bore or oversized .020), cam, valve springs, and a carb with jetting per your altitude. You can either send them your engine or purchase the kit and do it yourself.
The price for this monster kit is $1950.00 parts and labor included.
On top of that you can go really fast by buying a sleeve kit from Stroker ind. and have the ALBA kit also.
So not only would you have bigger displacement from the stroke kit from ALBA you can also have more displacement with the sleeve kit from Stroker.
check it out albaaction.com (1-858-486-4380) talk to Ethan.
and Stroker.com
ENJOY BOYS

Also I noticed in Dirt Wheels Mag. that the kit
is actually $1350.00 and you do the labor so for 1400 bucks and a little elbow grease you can have a warrior thats actually fast.
Once again boys ENJOY

The only question I have... Is the rest of the quad going to be able to take all the added power?? Or is it going to shred the tranny and clutch? Does seem like a good deal though.

I live about 3 mins from Alba Yamaha. If you want to talk to anyone it should be Quenton. Ethan is cool and everything but last time I was in there he couldn't figure out why the spacer plate wouldn't fit on a warrior jug. Well if he just happened to notice that he had it on the top of the cylinder instead of the bottom where it belongs he could be a machanic

ALBA Yamaha will ship you the kit for $1350.00
The problem is you have to find somebody to put it in or do it yourself.

Whitewarrior,
Well I'll tell you the problem with those sleeve kits. Like the one you had mentioned.
1. Your asking for trouble when you put a bigger sleeve in your cylinder (why you ask) Where is the heat gunna go. I know you say get an oil cooler. Well an oil cooler doesn't disapate the heat from your cylinder. When you put the new sleeve in your thinning the the wall of your cylinder an oil cooler WILL NOT HELP THAT.
2. Alot of those sleeve kits require machining done to the cases also. Good luck finding a true professional qualified to machine your cases.

That's a good point FIXxXer.
But when you pay an astronomical amount for your mortgage money gets a little tight.
