what compression are you running in that stock bore?

Just wondering, all those big numbers yall are posting surely arent lift. If its not then what the heck do they mean and why not classify cams by lift/duration.

I asked them the same question.......they said that it is the grind number.........how they I dentify the cam..........
?

I don't know who you were talking to me or 14mins but I run a stock bore JE 12.1 and I think Mark runs the same unless he bump up to that new 13.5 . Maks JE 12.1 is lightened by Craycrafy mine is a stock JE

Big scary- 13.3-1

web 685- lift intake- .452
exhaust .424

web 736/737 intake- .365
exhaust- . 365

web 696/697 intake .340
exhaust.355

I do not have the hot cams specs handy maybe somebody else can add them.

ACk, that one big cam has .02 more lift that mine! darn. Anywho, they shouldnt use those useless inflated numbers. They should just tell the lift and duration like megacycle and other normal cam makers.

after all of the horror stories about stock rods breaking, I am still hesitant to ust a 12:1 piston in my rappy............what does everyone, THAT HAS EXPERIENCE with a properly done one, think about this set up.........everything in my sig + JE 12:1 piston & Stage 2 Hot Cam & keeping my stock carbs....?

ALOT of people run your set up!!!! Theres only a very few that have rod failures!!!!!!

You should have your stock carbs modified if your going to run that set up.
