Default yfz 450 kill switch?

has anyone hooked up a kill switch on their 450 yet? i tried, but you can't hook it up to the positive coil wire like most other quads. i talked to one person at the dunes last weekend and you have to run the positive kill switch wire to one of the white wires leading into the cdi box, but wasn't for sure which one. i heard if you hook it up to the key or on/off switch on the handle bars it just blows fuses. i was just wandering if anyone had any information about which white wire to hook it up to because i don't really want to short out my cdi or anything. any suggestions or other info i would really appreciate. thanks

Default yfz 450 kill switch?

I believe i have read from someone on here that the cannondale kill switches will work on the yfz's, others will not?. I know a thread was brought up about this a short time ago, you may want to try finding it.

Default yfz 450 kill switch?

Just barley got done putting my kill switch on my yfz (pro design) it wasn't hard to do. It would be hard for me to tell you so i called duncan racing and talked to lenny and he told me how to hook it up so it won't hurt your bike because if you hook it up wrong it could hurt your bike. (619) 258-6306 ask for lenny.

Splice your kill switch wire into the solid white wire coming out of the cdi which is under the front.

Geoff.
