Default Scratched plastic fix

While I was shaping my tank I noticed that is was taking out most of the factory imprinted stamped letters on the tank and also made it more glossy. So I had the idea of trying it on some of my plastic where it is scratched. I worked! I just heated it up and the scratches disappeared like magic.

I might be the only person that didn't know about this, but I thought I would pass it on anyway.

what do you mean? just hit the scratch parts of the fenders with a heat gun and, they come out or, you have to do something when it gets hot??

i have always used the platic renew stuff and they come out pretty good. All you need to do is follow the instructions and you will be happy with it. I got my used honda and used the plastic renew stuff and it came out showroom finish shine....but dont over do it because you can ruin the plastic

Yup, just heat it up with a heat gun. I kept the end about 3" away from the plastic. And you will see it start working.

Disclamier: If you melt your fenders into a pool of plastic I will not be held acountable.
