true but thats bombardier, i never heard of them having any defects except for the headlight. What i meant by the more speed-less dependability thing was, A 400ex is very dependle but if you want more speed, a raptor, its not gonna be as dependable as the ex.

yeah i guess the 400ex's are a little tougher. I think there both great bikes. as far as the suspension goes, i wish the raptor had its travel, but with the stiffness of the ex.
