Warrior Exhaust
#1
I have a 2000 Yamaha Warrior and I want to put a new exhaust on it. I was thinking about the FMF Megamax II and the Powerbomb header, would this be a good system for lowend and midrange? I ride trails mostly. Let me know if the system is good for lowend and midrand or any other suggestions on systems for lowend and midrange, but I mostly want to know about the FMF system I mentioned. Also does the FMF Megamax II have the tuneable disk? I know the Meagamax did but I dont know about the Megamax II

Yes it does have the tuneable disc end cap. And...yes, it's a good pipe for your Warrior. I had just the slip on Megamax II on a Wolverine (basically same engine) and it made a ton of low and mid range power. I actually had a 4" Supertrapp race exhuast on my 96 Warrior (with 10 discs on the end) and it made so much low end power that I ended up going up one tooth on my front sprocket. Anyway... yes, that pipe/header would be great for your Warrior, and relatively inexpensive compared to some of the others.

It won't come with jets and/or an air filter. Those come separate, unless you buy them as a package deal from somewhere. Albaaction.com has good kits for the warrior. They would come with everything you need, and so does Goldenwestcycle.com
Good Luck!!!

Full system is pointless on a warrior. Look at that header pipe, thats on a 350cc motor! Use some common sense. When you buy headers on a car, you want ones that are bigger and flow better, so if your car comes with a set of headers from the factory, some aftermarket ones arent going to help....

No you need a different head pipe depending on what kind of power you want. If you want more top end, you want a bigger header tha flows air better, but if you want lowend/midrange you want a smalled headpipe that will have back pressure and make lowend/midrange
