Ported vitos piston,any problems?

Default Ported vitos piston,any problems?

Hay i was in the process of rebuilding my blaster(2 years still good compression but wanted to go faster)..
I bought a vitos "superstock" forged piston and my uncle and my dad ported at there lil shop ,and i just wanted to know if there was anything to worry about with posting the vitos pistons?ITs not going to grenade or anything is it?

Default Ported vitos piston,any problems?

I hope they didnt raise the exhaust too much if any. The Vito's piston essentially raises the exhaust port 1.75mm. If they raised the port you will have a big lower end power problem. On the other hand it will have a lightswitch powerband and hit real hard. The Vito's pistons are made for him by Wiseco and are even better because the rings are moved a little farther down on the piston and that keeps them away from the heat better. They are forged and are as good as any. It wont blow up I promise.Bubba

Default Ported vitos piston,any problems?

Thanks for the help,i got to ride it now and it feels great,i wanted most of the power mid and top and thats what i got!Im not sure what which or the how of the porting but i know it feels like more mid and top without much more bottom,but i love it.
