How many Guys have tried a Titanium 4 on their Raptor? Mine runs better than the e seires that I had before but maybe I'm missing out on some power? I like pipes like women love shoes!!!!!!LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Now I know that my Z440 may be nothing compared to some of the quads on this forum, but do not underestimate any quad just because of its displacement.

Some of you guys may have seen a Sparks Z running down at Pismo, or a Yoshi 450,or even that CRF 400ex, and know these bikes mean business....

Oh and Yamaha660R- I'd love to see some "real power" from your piped Rappy. Don't be ignorant and throw around words that you can't back up....

 

I agree with bulldogz. I haven't seen one Raptor or one DS that could hang with the CRF400ex at pismo over Labor day weekend. I've seen and ridden 727 Raptors and 720 Ds's.

Before you cry foul, there are plenty that could beat it I'm sure. It was fixed up and on alky. The same can be done to the Raptors and DS's. Just don't underestimate because of displacement.

 

HA, ignorant.....if you jet, air filter, no lid, and pipe a raptor right...you can run 50hp.

So don't tell me I can't back it up. Now I never dissed you or your quad....so instead of starting a fight and arguement over nothing...I'm just going to turn the other cheek and leave this topic alone.

 

50 hp??? I dont think so maby 45 and thats still pushing it....

 

Of coarse it depends on the Dyno but not 1 piped Rap @ FSW was anywhere near 50hp at rear wheels. 1st place @ FSW in stock bore class was won by a Rap with 54.5 hp. Just what I have seen. Again, it depends on whose Dyno it is run on but the previously Rap was Dynoed a few minutes after Scoobys 119 hp. The same bike was Dynoed a few weeks earlier with the same mods and hit 43.4 on a different Dyno.

with their pipe, they are claiming 49hp.

it depends on the dyno, and i'm saying my bike has plenty of power, i've beaten plenty of bikes, and a 440 is something i would like to try. and i have enough ego to say i can beat it.

Let me get this straight you think it's unfair he was bored to a 440 and raced a piped raptor with 220 more cc's than him. Who cares how much he spent everyone that races has to pay to beat the other guy because the other guy has usually paid a crap load on their ride. If you've got the extra cash do what you want. I myself can't hang with even a stock raptor but I'm stock myself. I do think this post is informative because I've thought about an fmf pipe myself, I'm glad I read all this first.
