Default banshee for me

im gonna be in the market for a new quad pretty soon. im looking for something to just have fun ripping around and shooting dirt with. i was considering the banshee, ive been riding for many years and i just bought a suzuki ozark about a year back and the thing is awesome for hunting and just screwing around with. but i want something that i can just rip with. i know people say it handles bad, but i dont really wanna see how fast i can get through a section of trails, i just moreless want to have fun.

an ozark to a shee is a mighty big step. you would probably have more fun on a 400ex.

why buy a out of date 400ex when you could get a kfx400/z400/dvx400???

2 stroke joke....my thoughts exactly.

well I know that you can pick up a used 400ex for pretty cheap. the cheapest used z I have ever seen was like 4000 while I see 400ex's with mods for sale for 3000.

2-stroke joke??? That is problably one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. The 'shee is the absolute wildest ride you can get on a quad. The aftermarket is unlimited, you said you wanted to see how fast you can get through something?? The banshee is it, but if your doing only tight trail riding I would not reccomend it to you.

how is the banshee maitnence wise? i know you will have to rebuild the top end once in a while, but i dont see this to be a reason not to get one. if i feel handleing is a concern im sure they make plenty of aftermarket parts to make it handle a little better, i just dont want to buy a 400ex and in a year want more power. is it possible to pick up a 99 banshee somewhere for $3500-4000? thanks for any replys

My 'shee has been very reliable since i've had it, always starts on first kick. Keep air filter clean, change tranny oil every 30hours, keep grease in the bearings, oil chain and your good to go. I got my 'shee for 3600$ the only REAL mods i've done is the elkas and front sprocket. The banshee will run circles around the 400ex.
