I'm 6'3" 235lbs and I feel comfortable on it. I plan on getting down to around 200lbs to get under the 220lbs factory spec though. The only reason being I don't want to break anything because I weigh too much. Plus I could stand to lose a few pounds anyway lol. I would ride one if I were you. If you just sit on one, its going to feel small. It felt small to me at first.

What kind of riding do you do?
I am 6'2" and 220 lbs.
Gotta say. . . I love my DS!
My Wife's Raptor is fun every once and a while and really can spin it around quickly (+5 rear axel). I still am much more comfortable on the DS for long desert / dune rides.
Rode my friends YFZ450 and it doesn't feel much different than my daughter's LT-80 as far as seat / bar height. I rode the ridge of Sand Mt. (very steep both sides) and I was happy with how stable I felt on the YFZ450. I can see how it would be a great track quad. The seat isn't much softer than the seat on my YZ426F. I don't think I would be comfortable on it for the long desert / dune riding. At a minimum you will probably need a taller set of bars and suggest some amputation or weight loss to get under the 220lb limit (especially if you are going to abuse it on a track.)
