You've got trash in your carb, take it off clean the jets(don't strip them!!!) and make sure your needle is closing all the way while your in there.

wouldnt it at least start by spraying starting fluid?

The air/fuel (pilot) jet is what alows gas(starting fluid)/air mix into your engine to start. IF THIS IS CLOGGED IT WILL NOT START!! Not even with methanol!!

Just tear it down and check. Remember ANY little bit of trash(a hair, hayseed,a splinter) will clog a jet. Don't go scraping in the jet holes, use compressed air. I'm always willing to help somebody out when I have an idea of what the problem is.

just another what-if... but i think i rember the plug being wet after i sprayed starting fluid through the carb. just figured i would throw that out there!! thanks again!!!!!
