Best Raptor First Mods
#12
I am really excited. I took my Raptor for a spin through the neighborhood as soon as I picked it up from the dealership tonight. I've never ridden one before, but I have ridden a 400EX and a Banshee. It is much more powerful then I expected!! It feels real nice on pavement anyways. I can't wait to get it in the sand. I paid something like $592 for the Alba kit including shipping. Is that ok? Or did I overpay? I ordered it straight from Alba.

You got their pipe, their jets and needles with your choice of end cap and a pro design flange with foam or K&N filter right? Thats not bad for all that you get when compared to others pipe deals.

From Alba's website:
"Kit comes complete with pipe, Team ALBA race endcap, full jet kit including needles, pilots, and mains. Also in the kit is a proflow adapter with K&N filter with outerwear and a engine crankcase breather."
Cool. I looked up some other pipe's prices. That price seems pretty good for all that.

It is, indeed a very good deal. Thats why I bought Alba. The differences in performance from one pipe to another aren't big enough to justify the costs. IMO you won't find a better deal on a pipe kit.

Get that lid of!!! Get that lid off!! Get that lid off!! WHo ever engineered that dog should be shot!! Drop a tooth in front for sure!! Don't forget the graphics (alba has a sweet american flag design coming out in Oct.) I run 22x11x8 haulers and they go great!
