Here Come the Comparisons!

Well, Honda is stepping up to the plate from the racing aspect, signing Tim Farr. This may be what it takes to strenghten Honda's ATV line up (like Yamaha's) in future years. If they ever bring new sport ATV's into their line-up, let's hope that they find some real designers/engineers other than the ones who designed the Dream 50 and this other ridiculous looking scooter. I want the TRX450R to kick a$$. It will be good for the industry. The question is if Honda wants to become a leader (again)? The jury is still out. Let the #'s talk. Can't wait to see the TRX vs. YFZ.

When did honda ever lead. Everyone else always upstages them motor wise. They make a 250r, yammy makes a banshee, they make a 400ex, yammy makes a 660r, on and on and on. Ew they made one bike that if you spent thousands of dollars on you could race. Thats not saying much, it wasnt race ready, it just happened to be cheaper to get that way.

A banshee is in a league of its own. Honda was leading the sport market in 99 and the 400ex won a few shootouts against the big bore quads, like the z400 does today. In todays standard the 400ex is now a sport machine not high performance. IMO hondas have a good reliabilty record, and Ive owned a few.
