Default Water Level

is it safe to be in water passed the carb on a 1988 Blaster with a stock carb and hoses?

I done it a bunch of times, just keep on the gas.

I find out monday if I can start exercising the wrist. so hopefully I should be able to ride glamis on halloween. thanks for asking.
