if i take my snorkel off and cut a few holes in the airbox, can i put just put in a jet that is 10 bigger than stock. right now my blaster is bone stock and i want to do those airbox mods. i believe the blaster comes with a 230 main jet, so can i put in a 240 main jet to jet it to the airbox mods-snorkel removal and a few holes in the lid??

 

that will work, but do a plug test after you do it. but the blaster's come lean so going up a size should be good. think about getting a pipe if want to see a good increase in power.

 

i am selling it soon, so im not putting any money into it, i have a 240 jet, that will work, or do i have to buy a 250

 

just put the 240 in it. that will work fine.

 

Rider1169- i did the EXACT same thing to my blaster that you are talking about. I cut one very large hole right in the middle of my lid cover, removed the snorkle tube, and put the extra 240 main jet in it that came with my blaster. It runs great, not a real big power increase or nothing but it really does run better now. it seems to run more smooth and have better transition from low to mid range power

 

i dont get it. I thought from like, 1995 an up the blaster came with a 260 main. thats the size i have on mine with the mods that i have an it runs lean.
P.S. im at sea level
