Yamaha Discussions about Yamaha ATVs.

If you had a 1000 to spend how would you turn your blaster into an awesome woods machine?

What should i get? I was really thinking about the CT-240 kit till I seen it was almost 900.

I'm actually pretty happy with the power i am getting out of it now. I would like more torque though.

I'm not totally sure what i should do for woods riding.

longer A-Arms and axles? Or? what.

You got your Blaster running again. GOOD
I don't know if you have read my posts on the Warrior mods but if it's a sleeve kit becareful.
Alot of sleeve kits require machining to the cases. Find out if it is a sleeve kit and if there is any machining that has to be done.
Also when you resleeve your cylinder the heat can't desipate from your cylinder, (your cylinder walls become thinner. It might not be so bad on a blaster due to the cooling fins on the cylinder and head.) Just becareful make sure you don't get stuck having to machine your cases. Personnaly look for a stroke kit which replaces your crank.

It runs great now. Really it blowing up wasn't really it's fault. That stupid oil injector.

I've talked to a few people that have gotten them and they all say there are no heating problems.

I have the ct240 kit and it does not over heat. It is awesome. It ROCKS!! You get everything with it too. I had to wait a month for them to get the airbox adapter, that was the only thing I did not like from them. Also you will have to run high octane gas with this kit. One draw back. But if you want power go for it!!

If your trails are anything like ours, I'd say belly armor. Some nice small stumps, a couple small deadfalls I have to hop etc.
}:-) Don't know what you've got already though.
