Who Will Yamaha Sign

Most of the newer riders/forum members probably don't know much about Barry Hawk. He ruled the quad scene until he decided he couldn't feed his family on the winnings. It would be great for him to come back to quads if it is beneficial to him.

i doubt it will be jones, he rides a two smoke and has said several times his riding style does not go well with 4 bangers. kory would be a good choice i think, or joe byrd. since he has gotten his big azz (over 6' and 210 lbs) on something that will haul him around better (via custom crf450) and keep up with the little guys (140lbs) he has been winning. he's very serious with atv racing and promotes a positive attitude which is what the factories are looking for. not that kory doesn't, i just haven't been around him to know.
it would be stupid for suzuki not to sign doug gust, he's been racing suzuki products for years. is tim farr going to be competing in the pro class on the honda or just the pro-production?

Jones needs to re-think and modify his style for 4bangers. he won't be able to remain as competitive.... when all his competition is getting factory support and $$$. I know if i was making the decision over at Yamaha...Jones would be my pic. Young, fast and a clean cut personality. perfect. hell...he can date my daughter if he likes.

Unless GNC Motocross gets TV coverage like AMA Motocross, I dont think Yamaha will sponsor a fully backed team. Not enough of a world wide following yet.
I personally would like to see Kory Ellis get the job.
