who actually still has stock 01' Rappy gears?
stock gears...piped and jetted.
-I will not use reverse unless absolutely necessary and then i ensure it is in gear before i get on it.
-I am on my second chain, sprocket, frame and cored out the splines on my LSR rear hubs.
-I run a Scotts oil filter (re-usable) it has a micro mesh filter and magnets. i change oli and inspect filetr for tranny debris every month or (16 rides).
-I do not baby it. i ride track,jump,trails,pits,ice and drag. i ride it all year round through Rain snow or shine. I've rolled, flipped, endo'd and crashed it.

My brother and best friend both ride 01' Raptors. My brother has already had to replace the 01 gears for 02's. My best friend still has his original gears, but he never rides his bike. He bought it brand new in 01' and might have 3 hours on it. He starts it up every day but never rides it. I suspect this might be a reason the gears havent failed.
