Raptor or YFZ?
I have heard my good things about both of these quads, but my question is what quad is the best in low range, mid range, topend, acceleration, torque suspension, etc. I have heard several opions and mosty hear Raptors are better for topend, but YFZ is better in everything else, I though YFZ had better topend and everything on the YFZ is better than the Raptor. Am I right? What do you think?

alot is going to depend on what you plan on using it for. racing mx i would go with the yfz for just riding either one would be good just remember you can always add aftermarket stuff to perfect your bike to your needs make faster or more bottomend, etc. but for racing you cant beat the yfz for handling

Who are you kidding? Top end is useful in more then just drag racing. In the dunes, whatever I am riding, whether it is a bike or quad, its revved out to its limit. Thats where top end power is needed. On a track however, you need all around good power. Stock vs stock, nothing is gonna beat a YFZ on the track. But I don't race, so I have a Raptor.

There is top end power and top end speed. The YFZ has more top end power (pwr/Wt.) than the Raptor and yes the Raptor may be 3-4 MPH faster than the YFZ, but it will take the Raptor a while to catch the YFZ. I've ridden both and I like my YFZ better. It handles better, jumps better and all around I feel more comfortable on the YFZ. It's all in what you like. You can read all of our opinions, but it's ultimately what you feel better on. And yes I know you can't go out and test both at your local riding area, so take in everyone’s opinion and make a decision. Mine opinion buy a YFZ.
