Yep, if it's the same guy you'll recognize him and you won't even have to revert to my prior plan, but If they are smart they will have a rotation between getaway driver and theif.

 

Sting operation would be great!!! Do you have any friends or family that live in a neaeby town? You could advertise it in the same paper, but put an out of town # and address, maybe he would be less suspicious? Hype the bike up, say its got this and that, and price it right. Hopefully the b@stard will show his face again, then you got him. Maybe even have someone else meet with the person, and you could hide somewhere and I.D. him if he shows. As far as the quad, if you don't have one to use, when people show up, tell them sorry, someone just showed up and payed cash! Then you could use this operation over and over till you nail the piece of crap. If you do use a quad, just have someone parked down the street, and if they attempt to load up, beat them down there, or jump in the car and give chase! It'd be real cool if you could rig up a remote control kill switch, then you could kill it before he gets out of sight, then inflict some pain on his @ss!!! I hate thiefs!!!!!! My 2 cents......

 

Now hopefully no one lets someone test ride their quad when they are selling it, or if they do in Az call me I'm looking for more info.

Not to sound like a idiot but if you plan a sting, and the guy is setting back reading this he is going to be two steps ahead. There was a kid around here that was jacking 4-wheelers and dirt bikes from people when they were home and he never got caught because the people didn't expect him to be the one stealing there stuff, until one day he slip and was caught stealing a Quadzilla from his friends house and a C.O. saw the whole thing and started to chase him down, the kid got away, but got caught a few days later. They found little evidence that he stoled the but later admitted he took and parted them out a ditched them in stripper pits around the area.

Even though i am in Indiana I printed out the pic and info and will keep eyes and ears open.

 

Roach007 ---Thx for looking around and who knows what the guy (s) are doing with my quad and others. Hopefully now nobody will let a stranger on their toy..


I had a couple things not come thru today and so I have to wait another day. The days keep adding up. I still need bits of info and eyes and ears, someone knows something about him or the quad. You can PM me or email me or call me.

 

I assume you've been reading the classifieds everyday, going to dealers who sell used quads checking ebay etc..etc..??
