Went out to a popular riding spot Saturday looking, I can't believe how many people don't visit any Atv (riding or racing) forums. I got the word out some more, and passed out more flyers but I didn't see it. I did hear three stories about stolen quads being recovered though. One was in four months and was a little over a year and the last one took two years to get back to the owner. The last one had all numbers grinded off but they have some acid test that allowed them to see the numbers so he said. I have never heard of that, but I think that is cool and I will look into it just to know the correct answer.

1. He is hiding it (where)
2. He has already sold it ( To who )
3. He is selling the parts (To who and where)
4. He is riding it ( he will be found )

 

Hey, he talked about that street legal raptor right? or thats what i got from reading that. In dirtwheels for october they showed the street legal raptor, just a thought but that might be his or one of the ppl he knos it should be on the dirt wheels mag web site. there is an acid test of some sort.
they use it on stolen guns with the serial #'s fileed off and it shows the serial number.

 

Man, i know how you feel, except i didnt even get the chance to dump money in mine luckily, i had a blaster, brand new, and it was stolen a month after i got it along with my sisters dirt bike!cops didnt do sh*t about it. ill keep an eye out for it, never forget to check ebaymotors, and cycletrader. dont loose hope, with as much stuff as you posted on the internet, someones bound to stumble across it sooner or later. i wish i could have found the guy that stole my blaster, i would have tied him to the front bumper and ran into a tree!

 

im way up in OR, but ill keep an eye out. hope you find it. it sucks, a lot of the time they do get away with it. but you definately have the support of all 38,000+ users on this forum. hope thats a comforting thought.

That banshee is beautiful and easy to remember. I live in Scottsdale and will keep an eye out for that quad wherever I ride. I'll haul the d-bag back to your house from his short hairs if I see the looser. Sorry to hear about your loss.
