what jet sizes clip position? i need to know everything im running a yoshi comp with out the spark arrestor i was just wondering because im about to tear into it. i have a pro flow with a K&N

also what do i have to take off "plastic" like the gas tank ect... to get to the carb. And anything else i need to know before let me know

 

Take the front fender off, then the gas tank and the rubber over the carbs. Take the carbs off from the boots. And flip the carbs over. Before you start I would go down to Lowe's or Home Depot and get some 4mm by .7 bolts. To replace the crappy screws. Remove the main jet and pilot jet and replace. I spray the bowl with carb cleaner to make sure its clean the replace the bowls. Flip the carbs back over and remove the black cover. Take the spring out and remove the guts and change the clip position to the 3rd clip. Try a search on clip positon to hear it better. I "think" you should run 155, 160 and 25 pilots. Hope this helps.

 

You don't have to take the front fenders off. They'll flex enough to reach to the two 10mm headed bolts in the front of the tank. A 12" extension is all that's needed.

 

The bolts clutch is talking about will be labeled 4mm x 10. I recommend allen screws which they call metric hex head cap screws.

i got her jetted 146/148 3rd clip position with the airbox lid it runs great throttle repsonse is a lot better but when i wheelie it wants to cut out. only once when i was riding it, it shot out a flame so im thinking its still running a little rich. so im going to take the lid off tomorrow and see if it cleans up on wheelies

any advice what might be happening???????
