Default raptor problems after rebuilt engine need help!!!

For the heck of it, make sure all of your ground wires are hooked up and that your coil has a good solid CLEAN connection to the frame. You may be getting a spark but it may not be hot enough due to a lack of a good electrical connection. Easy to check before you tear the motor down. I also didn't see if you actually replaced the plug... I saw that it was wet when you pulled it but try a new one if you haven't already. Strange that it ran for a bit but then doesn't now.

After the plastic and tank are off you should be able to have the cam cover off in about35 to 45 mins.

lol whoa its gonna take 35-45 minutes just to get to the cam cover? once we got it out of the frame we had the engine dissasembled in about 20 minutes... thats the whole top end to. why would it take soo long just becayse it is stilli nthe frame and hard to get to? either way it will save lotsa time in the long run i think.

That time is just a guess I don't know if your some shmo doing it the first time or what. I could have it off in about 25 mins. including pulling the plastic and tank. But go ahead and pull the whole engine, that's what I would do if I were a dumb@ss.

lol we know how to do it... and all of the engine work my dad does i and my friend just do the dumb work. and my dad is knows more than anyone knows i can garantee it. anyways i could not get the compression checker to fit in there so i do not know what the compression is reading. but we did put a peice of paper at the exhaust pipe and it would blow it out and then it would suck it in. so we are guessing hte exhaust valve timing is off just a hare and not closing all of the way. so we will check that out later tonight.
