PRM seems to have the best prices on their skids. Are they pretty good?

GYT-R Fits the best because it made by Yamaha. The skids are very thick and durable.
The only problem is the Full under shield. The bolts sent by Yamaha are a bit to short if you have Nerf bars installed. No a big deal just make sure you get some longer ones before you install. GYT-R, are expensive but definalty worth the price. I did see some others at the dealer but they did not look as strong as GYT-R.

They also fit like a dream. The holes line perfectly and the drain hole for changing the oil is alsos there. I have seen some manufactures make the skids with no drain holes what so ever.

If you check PRM-ATV.com You can read about their products. Read about the Zpalte or whatever they call it...

I bought the full skid package for my '03 Raptor and Warrior. fit perfect. good price, already paid for themselves.

I'd say buy thye PRM stuff.

I just ordered a complete set of PRM skids. I really liked the look of the DG Fat series but not the price. Anyway I will let everyone know how they fit.
Thanks for all the replies,
Tim

Tuna,

What is PRM asking for a full skid??? I just picked up a GYT-R full skid plate for $83.00 on sale at a local dealer. It is very nicely made and heavy duty. I already smashed the stock platic one up !! The retail price was $110.95 Just curious....

Thanks, PH

i sure wish my local dealer carried parts for my YFZ already. its pretty pathedic they sell the YFZ but they dont even know what oil filter fits in it!!! its amazing i know all the dealers around my area are not like this buy i dont want to have to drive an hour to get to the dealer to buy a filter and oil. i wont mention the name but there outragously overpriced and slow. are all the dealers like this or am i just getting shafted?
