Ditto on the 2nd gen body style. I don't like the new ones either. If I was going foriegn small sports car I'd have to go with the Subaru WRX. That is one BAAADDD machine.

 

Yes WRX is an excellent car with better insurance rates in most cases then sports cars. Plus you don't have to worry at all about winter!

why dont you peeps like jap cars? They will outlast any american made car! Toyota is a solid car.

 

eclipse spyder with turbo is a nice set up..

 

The only reason jap cars outlas americans because they use a 4 cyl that any of our quads can beat. a Hemi Ram will smoke a ricer.

 

Here in Michigan, the reason Japanese cars might last long is because they are driven like pansies. 60 mph in a 70 zone, idle up to speed. The American cars get beat - 95 mph in a Windstar, light up the tires in that Cherokee at the stop sign, fling the Cavalier around a corner.

 

Honda Prelude!!!!! I had 91 w/ 4 wheel steering, it smoked celica's and eclipses 10 years younger, plus would only be a car length behind a v8 mustang. Plus it was good in slalom courses.

 

my friend had a prelude just like that...91 with fourwheel steering...slammed on some 17's back then, with some other fun stuff on it....that thing hauled *** and cornered like a ****...
