Does Anybody know how to get a Rally started? Has anyone helped to organize such an event or some event similar to a qaud rally? How do you take care of thigs such as stakeholders (sponsors, licenses permits, liability insurance, permits, and community) How do the basics get started such as advertising, awareness and so on.
Please reply. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I want to have the rally in Alberta, Canada

 

I haven't organized a rally before, but off the top of my head, here's my 2 cents.

First, figure out where you want to have it. Then go to the local authorities, police or court house, county commissioner etc, for permit and legal info. They will get you started on what you need to do and what the local regulations are.

Now if you have discovered that you can actually do it, contact any ATV clubs around and the local bike shops to pick their brains on other details. By the time you get this far most of your other questions will have been answered or at least you will know where to get them answered.
