the 18 discs on the CT, was that done on a dyno? I know that CT calls for 12. I can see that you have some mods, so I just wanted to know if the 18 disc choice was done on dyno, or a 'butt dyno'.

Both have their valuable information....

So you like the MBRP...... Hmmm...... Now you've got me thinking.

Is it that much louder than the CT? Is it as loud as a GYTR tip? My buddy just bought an 03, and wanted me to find the best pipe out there......

The MBRP drag pipe is a lot louder than any other exhaust out there for the raptor lol

 

The drag pipe is loud until a DS 650 with a modded endcap or big gun pipe shows up.

 

I know this has been asked before, but how much? And can you ride around like normal with it on?

 

I'd say no.......From the picks I've seen of the "drag" pipe its a straight header w/no muffler/silencer on. You probably could use it in your local riding area.....if you wanted it shut down and you get about 10 noise pollution tickets along with pissing off anyone in a couple mi. radius. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I would say the "drag" pipe is designed specifically for "closed course" only applications.

Wallstreet- You can cruise the dunes with it. I have many of times. The price is 580 bones. 580 seems high until you get 5 more hp than any other pipe out there. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

It is all but dyno, I have no dyno charts.

I can tell you that adding more disc's to the exhaust helped a lot on top end. The system would work well on a stock or slightly modded Raptor but for all the things on mine it is pushing the limit.
Thats why I chose the MBRP drag pipe, it rules!!!!!!

Oh and sorry the CT exhaust is not for sale, I am going to keep for now.

 

For how long?.......... It's just a matter of time my friend. I'd be more concerned about not offending people who can close my area down than the extra 2-4 hp. I'd gain. Not knocking on ya, just looking at the big picture. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

is this drag pipe any different from the mbrp that you just see in magazines....so you wouldnt recommend me taking it to say a park or something.....
