Yeah I kinda agree..seems even with an external water pump there would be no way to get the water thru the jug...no return passages either. Ya could go with a larger oil cooler, even ad a fan if heat is that large a problem. You may could fab you some kind of shroud to direct more air to your engine and oil cooler. The Wolvy oil cooler is sort of small compared to say a BigBear or Kodiak. I see your a Harley rider also...I have often wondered if a oil cooler like is on my H-D would work on a Wolverine. I would think you would have something similar on your bikes. I know the Wolvy has oil lines that appear to be some sort of hi pressure lines. I wonder if thats for looks or if they are really hi-pressure.

The oil lines are not high preassure. I used a custom bent 3/8" line and a coupleof hose clamps to extend one of the oil lines to get the oil cooler back in its stock position, where it should be, after the PO put the winch on all "hokiefied" Now everything looks like it belongs When I have time and money I will get a the added steel line crimped on like the stock ones are by a local auto shop.

No problem. I am new to the Wolverine But I think it is the best fit for what I do. I hop to learn a lot, and make it so I can spank my friend's 300ex. After I run him in to a mud hole I can pull him out

alrighty fellas, its christmas time! money money money!$$$$! so, what is the cheapest way to reach 30hp? according to HMF's site, the pipe will add 5hp, so that sends me to 23, assumin stock it has 18. and the CFM airbox says to add 4-6, so there is 27-29hp. does this sound resonable? thanks guys!

Well, with the horsepower, it doesnt really work that way. You may have gained 3hp if you jetted it right. Horespower numbers are always exaggerated, say if it has 19 stock and you add a good pipe you have maybe 20. Then you put a filter on it and you will probably still have 20, but it will be boosted in different ranges, like maybe now you have 2 more hp at 4000rpm than you did stock. If you go with a good pipe, intake(whole box), and jet it perfect youll maybe have an increase of 3-4 peak hp. When you start doing all of this, one things works with another to create power.

Example: with just a pipe, you may gain 1hp. Then just a intake alone, 0.5hp, then jet kit alone, 0.5hp. But if you put them all on there at once you will get 3-4hp, thats more than 2. Do you see where Im giong with this?
