My first race!!!
#1
I just raced sunday 9/29/03. it was a harescramble so we were racing in a field, mx track, and trails. In 'my page' there is 2 pics of who i was against, and a few that werent in the picture range.DECKED OUT blaster, and a 300ex or 2. i had never even been to the track and was racing the first time lol, i didnt even know where the starting area was . but luckily a friend was there and told me what i needed to know.a couple small things that went wrong did, i lost my transponder,i didnt have enough gas, and my silencer and midpipe broke off when i jumped a large table-top.
I passed every body in the woods except a blaster, but i caught up to him in the field and mx track, then stayed behind him most of the ways in the woods(tight trails, yes, on a banshee), he had the edge because he had been to the track before and had a smaller, nimbler machine.but i always caught up to him in the field and mx track but he would sneak by me at the trail entrance.long story short,i was about to pass him on the beginning of the last lap,but when hit the table top, right before the woods, the rubber part of the mount on the silencer broke and i was out of the race, luckily, it wasnt the only reason i would be out, i was at about 1/8th a tank and had to quit, with the track being 8 miles long, i was lucky the silencer did break off, because i would be in the middle of the woods without a way of getting it back to the pit area. But if luck were on my side, i could have passed the blaster on the last lap(in the field and mx track) and snagged the win, if i didnt and kept going at the same pace with noone passing me or me passing them, i would have had 2nd. it was a blast. thanks for reading

I race Under The Lights Motocross every weekend. Racing is great, and its addictive... i just put blue neon ground effects, strobes under my hood, and above my engine, w/chrome toggle switches with red led indicator tips on my rear fenders to control them... talkin about gettin the looks as you roll through the pits... but on the line they go off, cuz its time to work.

I just had my first race this past weekend, after owning my quad for only 2 weeks. wasnt MUCH of a race, but it was fun. It was my warrior vs. my friend's punched-out blaster in a drag race on pavement. very fun, took him very easily. Now, we're out to shut the mouth of a certain 400ex owner in the area. WOuld be really cool to see the 15 year old warrior take the brand new honda we'll see.
