Im hauling a 20 ft. Haulmark race trailer, finished inside with a 2001 F150 Super Crew, 5.4 L. That pig chugs going up the big hills with that trailer and four quads stuffed inside. Could use the powerstroke at times.

99 F350 XLT 4x4 supercab longbed with V10. Not the mileage of the diesel but with my 6x18 trailer it hauls just fine. Avg 13mpg hwy. Usually hauls a 01 raptor, 01 Recon, 98 Warrior, 97 Blaster. Never a problem over hills, that v10 is a pullin motor. I do however plan to buy a 6.0 diesel but for now the gasser does everything I need. 80000+ and never a single trip to the shop or a single hard start.

2003 F-150. Got the half doors in back so loading/unloading gear from the back seat is easy. If I'm just hauling my raptor it goes in the bed. If I'm dragging more quads down I either pull my 5x8 trailer or a 7x14.

Am I the only person with an old worn pick-up, I have a 85 Toyota SR5. About 3 years ago when I got back into quads I needed something to just haul the bike around in.......me and my wife just have your standard 4 dr sedans and I didn't want to go out and buy a new (or almost new) pick-up, and I didn't want to tow a trailer around with the car so I started looking for an older pick-up. I got lucky I found a guy who was the original owner of the truck, the truck had about 160,000 miles on it and I have put about another 15,000 since I got it from him.....the truck has been solid as a rock, very reliable so far
I paid the guy $750 for it, only major thing is the AC does not work and it has some rust in the bed of the pick-up.
A little side story about non-ATV people, A co-worker of mine saw my 03 Raptor sitting in the back of the pick-up and glanced from the pick-up to the qaud, he turned to me and asked how much I paid for the truck....so I told him $750, he then asked how much I paid for the Raptor...so I told him $5600. He had this look of bewilderment on his face and just looked at me and asked "why?", I told him if he had to ask then dont bother.......unless your one of us, you will not understand
The truck is just a means to the end

98' F-150 lowered(yea lowered, wish I hadn't sometimes when it gets muddy) Flame 3-stage paint job, shaved all emblems and handles except door handles(illegal in NC ) with lightning 18" wheels and 295/45/Zr18's(again not very good off-road tires. ) Pullin' my father-inlaw's 6x12 Haulmark enclosed trailer carrying (2) 250x's (92', 87'), and one 01' Rappy. Were hoping my wifes POS S-10 Blazer will soon be fixed so we can haul with THAT and not my street mobile.
