White Brothers E-Series question
#1
How much does adding/subtracting discs affect power and noise, is this a fairly loud setup with the recommended number of discs installed?

The LESS disks you have in the pipe the LESS top end power you will have but it will have LESS noise....
The MORE disks you have in the pipe the MORE top end power you will have but it will have MORE noise....
I keep the standard 12 disks in mine. It's not overly loud and makes great power...... It's still very far from quiet though..

I've used the E-Series quite a bit and noticed that the packing blows out really easily so watch that! I always kept 12 disks in and it ran great! I think 4 disks is equal to stock db if that helps. The more disks you take out the more torque you get and the more you add the more top end you get. I think anything above 12-14 is way to loud and 14 is kinda streachin it.

The diffuser disc tunable end cap assembly allows fine tuning of the power band and sound levels which imo is pretty cool and to suit different types of terrain you can change the power and noice level.

they are junk IMO. I had them for a yr back in 2001. Then I went to get LRD and made a world of different. I bet it would be the same on Yohsi set up too that they are much better then E-series too.
