I went to my local yamaha and they cant find anything. I took a look at the GYT-R catalog and they dont sell the hardware seperatly. Anyone else ever done this? Or can someone get the bolts for me?

tried that, they dont carry long 6mm fine thread bolts. tried a tractor supply, pretty much every place that might sell screws, except the ***** houses south of the border

We have a local bolt house store here that would carry that. Also do you have an OSH store by you? I found out they have most bolts there.

No OSH, only big stores are Home Depot, Imperial Hardware Stores, ECON and some auto parts stores. Pep Boys had the bolt, just not long enough, maybe I could weld a piece from another screw and make it work. If I cant find the damn bolt, I'll end up having to do that

Do you know what size and measurement they are? I could get them for you and send them to you.

I have the guard and the bolt and don't use it, nor do I ever plan on using it. I would send you the bolts but, now that I know they are special, I would be stuck in the same situation trying to get rid of my guard. Try looking on ebay for some of the stainless steel bolt kits for the raptor. I got one and it had a whole assortment of bolts and nuts. They are all labeled for what component they are for, but I just use mine as a general bolt kit. Probably have what you need in there. Good luck. If you cannot get the bolts and can unload the guard you have, I'll cut you a good deal on mine, its the carbon fiber one.
