We are leaving the 9th. Anyone interested in meeting up. We'll be breaking the sparks bikes in, so we can race on the 11th and 12th.

The work looked great, it better look fantastic for how long it took, I was kind of expecting gold plated, j/k.

I noticed the cam did not have very much lift but a very long duration.

Sound almost stock when idling, then really roar with those pipes.

absolutley no engine noise at all!!!, I guess because of that milder cam???

Hey Raptor660Fam, How are the cinders? I haven't made it up there yet. Also, do you need paddles or can you knobbies?

The cinders are absolutley beautiful!!! Not a very far drive for you, you are welcome to come. There are huge pine trees and shade everywhere so even the women have agreat time. You will usually get a light rain which quiets the dust down and allows for great trail riding. Basically there are 6 huge hills that are about 5-15 mins apart and we trail to them then try to climb them. so on and so forth. There is only one really good drag hill.

As far as paddles go, our family has always ran knobbies because it means something if you can climb those hills without paddles. I have not seen a yfz over there yet with knobbies only paddles and they got around well.

Let me know if you want to go we are leaving Tucson @ about 4:00 and we will stop in Phoenix for gas at about 4:30-5:00 (usually the end of phoenix not sure what part all I know is it is the last chevron) only about 3.5-4 hr. drive from there.

we have about 4 semi-stock 400ex's and one 440. They do well. One guy uses paddles and he climbs some hills but is barely moving. The ones without paddles don't get very far up the major hills but they do well and definitely have fun trying to climb them. It's nice to have a challenge sometimes, it separates the great riders from the good, who can get the highest.
