Default Raptor or Banshee?

Just ride both if you can and get what feels right to you. Either way you can't go wrong.

Yea I aree with raptorx44... There two tottaly different machines and it depends on which one suits you better... But with either machine youll eat the 400 because I ride with two of them and they barely can keep up...The quads are piped and jetted also.. And I roast em.. So it dosent matter which quad you get youll still beat him its just that the banshee.. yes is faster..But they are two different machines you have to ride them both and see which one suits u more...

Default Raptor or Banshee?

One thing i always hear is that banshees or 2 strokes in general are always having to be wrenched on, or rebuilt. I'm a decent with a wrench and with a clymers manual and the right tools i think i could pretty much do just about anything on my warrior. How often do banshees have to be rebuilt, and what are usually some main problems they seem to suffer from? I really like that the raptor is a 4 stroke because they're virtually maintence free aside from the usually oil change and clean air filter. I've also heard everything on two strokes is much simpler. Usually about every friday i'm in the garage for about three or four hours fixing or looking for things to fix on my warrior, do you think a banshee would be much worse. One more question i'm not buying these new i'm a college student at Central Missouri State and money tends to get tight, just about how fast is a banshee with full exhaust, maybe a pro-flo kit, and jetting(because i can't seem to find a stock one, these are usually the mods already on them)?(MPH) and a raptor stock?(MPH) thanks.

The top speeds don't change w/ performance parts just how quick you get there. I'd bet the 2 are very close in top speed.

With the mods in my Signature my Raptor was going 85.1 with stock tires and 84.6 with Rarz, and the modified Banshee's with about the same or maybe less money then what I put in mines where leaving me behind on flat drags.

pipe, filter, jets, reeds, shaved head, 15/41 sprockets and youll be pullin 95 atleast on flat ground. Atleast thats what everyone else around here is doing with those mods.

You could go down on the rear sprocket or, up a tooth in the front... BUT, I wouldn't go making it any faster on top that the stock 75-80. These bikes are not Crotch rockets and, would need some mods to ensure stability at those speeds. Like Lowering and, a steering stabilizer. Plus the tire aren't speed rating for more than 80 or, so. Not to safe... Also, where do you have room to get up to 90 for a sustaind amout of time? The street? Another BAD move! Stick to the dirt or sand!
