I bought mine used - it was a 1997 and I bought it in I think 99. I paid $4200 for it but at that point they were more money new. You can probably find a very nice one for around 4k or a little under that and it might have a few accessories already. Mine had the full DG system when I got it. Sure makes a difference over stock but it is pretty darn loud too. Others aren't quite as obnoxious but I have no reason to spend money changing when mine is fine for me. If you are lucky you might find one with the 424 already installed and that would be a big plus. Supposed to make them a lot more fun.
