Need help with head lights

Default Need help with head lights

I just got some led's to put in my light but i cant get the lens off. Is there some trick to it?

I tried like hell too!! I called the dealership and they told me that they don't come apart.It is a assembly...one part number.
Sorry dude.

You dont pull the lense off you pull the bulb out from the back.

Default Need help with head lights

Im not taking the bulb out. I need to drill two 1/4 inch holes in the back of the housing and I cant put the lights in without taking the lense off.

oh, I am looking at mine now and it looks like you have to bend the little tabs out while pulling on the lense but I think they might be brittle and break.

I have bent them all and they wont brake but i can bend all three of them at the same time to take it off.

place a small screw driver in each one so that they are all bent out at the same time. Then pull it apart. They may be a little tight from being on so long.
