My coolant level has been steadily been going down. Over the past year it went from FULL to below the LOW level. Is this normal?

Do you ever tip your quad on the grab bar for washing? This took me a long time to figure out where mine was going. That could be a possiblility.

Mine always leaked out little into the overflo tube and when you put it back flat there would be about a teaspoon full come out of the top tube in the tank. I could be the only lucky soul too. The only reason I said this was for the long period of time this took to happen.

Never tip it. I wash it on level ground and never haul it standing up.

You could be getting it to hot and puking a little bit out. I know it's a dumb question, but did you make sure there was no leaks or places were it looks like it has been leaking?

It could also be a weak radiator cap, getting a little warm and then letting some into the ressy before tis supposed to. But I would check for leaks like WallStreet said first.

I have heard of water pump seals and headgaskets leaking, this would only be worse case scenario. Next oil change see if there is water in the oil. See if there is moisure comming out your exhaust. I fear the day this happens to me.

No leaks at all, cap is good and the rezie is tight. It has lost the coolant in one year, its still got some but I think its our 100+ heat that is causing this. I would think that the coolant would be mixed with water and thats why I lost a bit.

I just got back from a trip to the cinders, huge hills and very loose pack. I lost a little coolant from boil over. That amount of coolant loss over the time period you specified should not be considered abnormal.
