Buying a New Raptor.. how much O.T.D.
#22
If a Raptor is $6499 OTD why wouldn't you spend the extra few hundred and get a YFZ with all of the upgrades? I am hearing YFZ450 prices in AZ for around $7,300. The sales person told me he would sell one for "around $7,000.... Both great bikes.. but woudln't it be worth it for a few hundred more? Better yet.. wait 2 or 3 months for the Honda 450 to come out and drop prices even more?

Every dealership in the bay area sells however many Raptor they get in, just as fast as they can put the wheels on.
If you see a Raptor in the showroom anywhere around here, You'd better buy it cause it won't be there a day later.
It's really an amazing thing. And it goes on like that at all times of the year, Most people ride all year long.

I also just lined up an '04 Limited edition. Told them of the LA Yamaha prices and they agreed to give it to me for $6699 OTD. The dealer that is just up the road told me "it's a skinny deal but we want your business." Going in tomorrow morning to do the paper work. Congrats geoliquid!

Thanks. Yeah, I can't 'til this weekend. It'll be all I can do to keep from driving out to the desert to break it in. I have to get a hitch put on my Xterra and find a trailer between now and Saturday, though. Where do you go riding? My crazy friends and I usually go to Ocotillo Wells and we're planning a trip to Gordon's Well probably in November.

That's funny.. I need to put a hitch on my Jeep Liberty also. I'll probaly be renting a trailer from UHaul until I can find a small one in the recycler for a decent price.
I've been out to ocotillo wells in my jeep but never on a quad. My buddies go there all the time. This will be my first quad so I'll be trying as many SoCal spots as I can find. Try Uhaul for the Hitch.. again, congrats...
