I thought by know that i would have run across a built predator. Been to a few dragstrips, Little Sahara, Kermitt and others areas and never seen a built one. Barely a piped on. At kermitt we were busting down the trail and a predator coming the other way wreck 300 feet in front of us trying to get out of the way. lol Did polaris quit selling them?? I though superbikes was building some. Looks like the hi-po boys are still riding raptors and DS's with a few v-forces and yammie 450 building to play. So where are these built predators? Maybe airraptor named them right.

How extreme to do ya mean by built 'Dale? Just power only or suspension, accessories, etc?

 

No but I did see one on Nos that suprised a few of us at pismo,other than that nada!!

 

I've never seen a build dale...I don't have rear view mirrors on my Rappy!

Biggest cc I know of is the Southbay 460 and a test stroker 470 in the secrecy of Ohio.

I don't know of anyone putting "bigger" injectors in a 'Dale but SB does mess with them in some capacity to pull out more power. I think they change the angle on them so they squirt in a more efficient place.

Nobody has made a cam for the 'Dale that I know of. I just don't think there is a big enough market.

Southbay does a head mod - pulls out several HP - that's the only mod the kid from PA has and you can read about his success on the link I posted in the other thread. His is probably the most "built" 'Dale I know of, it will be a little more built come next season with added HP from Southbay.

 

Sandgod has one (Southbay, I think). I saw (and heard) he and Buddah (YFZ450) racing in Little Saraha this weekend. I don't know who won, I didn't talk to them.

 

I dont think you will see the Predators out in very big numbers. I do more 330 Mojave than predators and they only sold about 2000 units a year of the old Kawi's.
