Don't worry it is not that bad I had screws in my knee and pins in my hand removed and it was only sore for a couple of days after the surgery. It was alot worse getting them put in.

Saw your pics, I blame it on the dog, I love the gravel front yards in Arizona LOL.... as little as I tend to mow maybe I ought to do that here in Oklahoma.

I no longer have my raptor...I guess I have also been un-screwed

Tell them we demand vivid digital photos...maybe one with the anasthesioligist giving the thumbs up standing behind the nurse who is putting rabbit ears on the attending physician...

Don't you want to know what those guys are taslking about while you are out?

Dissapointment....I was running late this morning and left my camera at home. They didn't have one at the Dr's office either. It only took 30 minutes, this guy must carve meat on the side. I did get to watch the whole thing. The hardest part is when he took the 3 inch needle and stuck it in my ankle and started rotating it around to numb it up. I could only watch so much of that while holding onto the table with a death grip. Then he made about a 2 inch cut and opened it up with a spreader (I can't believe I forgot the camera). Then he coterized the bleeders. Smoke comming out of the ankle was just too cool. Then the good part. Last year I had a screw in my other ankle and they took it out with a cordless drill. This guy used what looked like an old screwdriver out of my grandpa's rusty tool box. It had an old wooden handle. He put some weight on it to break them loose then just started unscrewing. One of them hurt more than the other, but neither was so bad that I couldn't watch. When he was done he sewed it up and I walked out. It's a little sore now, but I got some good drugs that I'm looking forward to when I get home. Pain killers and beer, can't wait.
