Default 2 Strokes Banned
Ive been hearing somethings about emissions banning sales of 2 strokes in awhile because of pollution. they says everything will b 4 stroke. does ne 1 know ne thign about this?

They arent banned, theres just new emission laws. The manafactuers are too lazy to upgrade the 2 strokes to meet em. Not gonna stop me from riding my two strokes.

They never could ban the use of them. But they could the sales of them by dealers which they will do in 3 or 4 years

they will stop SELLING 2 strokes ...the cut off is 2006 I believe.

Yep pretty sure 2006 is it. If I were Yamaha I would make a banshee 500 and go out with a bang.

why is it that my jet ski (2003 yamaha GP1300R) is 2006 emissions legal, if i`m not mistaking it even says this on their web site but they can`t make a quad that lives up to this

What's that going to mean for the snowmobiles? Most all of them are still 2 stroke.
