What are Formuls? Aren't those those Southern dances where guys and girls get all dressed up, go ride in y'all pickup trucks and go eat at Denny's?

Dude, why can't I have both. I love my 400ex and plan on keeping it, right next to my Raptor, I just put a down payment on that baby. Hopefully I can finally win a drag race.

Oh ya.. I have a raptor on order as well, for my every day rider.. plus being lazy with reverse is nice also

But, when the big bore kits become available for Raptors, then the "built" Banshees will have to look out again!

The vitos are alright, but not what I expected. I don't think they helped all that much.

I'm sending my stuff to trinity racing for the 420 kit. I know alot of people on this board have had problems, but my other 2 friends that have had it done love it, and trinity did right by them.

I will say this about the trinity 420 kit, WOW. Mega amounts of low power and hand ripping full throttle toss you off the back of the bike kinda power. It's a big jump up from even a piped and correctly jetted stock 350.

The kit runs 700.00 without porting work or carbs, that just gets your cylinders resleeved, new pistons, and head work.

Mind you, this isn't a weekend trail rider by any means, thats why I'm buying a raptor, this is a fun race toy.

I tried to go buy a Raptor last night, the dealer wouldn't take my money??? Whats up with that. Actaully he's a good guy, I bought my Ninja and Banshee from him. He told me to come back up monday night, and he'd find out how much he's going to discount the raptor from MSRP, and give me an expected ship date. He said not a single dealer can place an order for one until monday, so until then no dice on him taking my deposit. He did put me first on the list though.

He mostly said his price will be 200 to 300 lower than MSRP, as it is on the banshee. So for anyone even thinking about paying over MSRP you're nuts.

Just my $.02 again..

Brad

Hey Brad:

Your dealer is crazy about not being able to order until monday. I was in my dealership on Thursday and he and the YAMAHA guy were working on the order. My dealer told me he is getting 12 to begin with. He got all of the information and allocation at the dealer meeting in Vegas on Tuesday. Something seems fishy to me. He is discounting Raptors to begin with? How long is he planning on being in business?

Well thats just what he told me, and he ALWAYS discounts everything below MSRP, cause "it's cheaper in middletown" <~ thats his phrase, and trust me, he sells a TON of quads and motorcycles. This will be my 3rd quad/motorcycle purchase from him, and he remembers me, he's not into guaging people, just selling alot of fun.

I don't think a couple hunderd under MSRP is asking too much... I mean does anyone pay retail for a car or truck??? I sure don't. Either make me a deal, or someone else will.

Just my $.02, and I'm wondering if east and west coast dealers are on different ordering systems??
