Default 2003 Blaster Mods

I just bought my Blaster like 2 months ago and I feel the need for more speed. Should I put Some money into it or just get a bigger bike? If I do start putting money into it where should I start modifying first?

Default 2003 Blaster Mods

sounds like me a few months ago, but ive decided to sell mine and get a banshee. its all up to you and what you want out of it. for me, i was thinking of so many mods and so much money that its way cheaper just to get a better bike to begin with.

the cheapest, most effective mod for the money is a pipe and silencer, you can pick up a good set for 200-300 bucks. they always wake up a bike from its stock pipe and silencer. as for other mods, you can get a 240 kit for anywhere from 250 bucks to 1400 bucks for the big bad one. the 1400 kit is more of a full kit for the bike, with a 240 kit, a pipe and silencer and a larger carb, giving your blaster a 40hp monster engine. but thats where it gets crazy. if youre gonna hvae 40 hp out of a chassis that short, youll want a +2 sringarm at least just to keep the front end down. thats almost 600 bucks, then for me, id want it widened, 600 bucks for the a-arms, and 400-500 for the rear axle.

you can see my point, for me, its a lot cheaper to just get a better bike. but its all up to you and how much money you think youll need to put into it to be happy, and whether its worth it to do that or to just get a better bike.
